By downloading, installing, or using the Drone Pilot ADS-B mobile application ("App"), visiting pilotADSB.com ("Site"), or purchasing any hardware from Midsouth Drone Services LLC ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Site.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App or Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Drone Pilot ADS-B App on Android or iOS devices you own or control. You may use the App for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, including Part 107 operations.

• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.
• You may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code.
• Your license is tied to the Google Play account or Apple Account you purchased from and is non-transferable.
• We reserve the right to revoke your license for violation of these Terms.

The App is a free download and includes a one-month free trial. The trial begins when you start a subscription in Google Play or the App Store, not when you first install the App. A valid payment method is required to start the trial, but you are not charged during it. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing.

Subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play on Android and through the App Store on iPhone and iPad.

Purchases of a pilotADSB Receiver include one full year of App access at no additional charge. That year is activated the first time you connect the receiver and does not require a subscription or a payment method.

All billing is handled exclusively by Google Play or the App Store. We do not store or process payment information directly.

ADS-B receivers purchased through pilotADSB.com are subject to the following:

Shipping: We ship to US addresses. We anticipate offering international shipping in the near future, so please check back soon.

Returns and refunds: pilotADSB Receivers may be returned for a full refund, with no restocking fee. To return a unit:

1. Contact us through our contact form within 30 days of the date your order is delivered. Include your order number, tell us why the unit is being returned, and ask for an RMA number. If you are within the 30-day window, we issue the RMA number immediately.
2. Ship the unit back within 7 days of receiving your RMA number, at your own expense. You are responsible for return shipping and for insuring the package against loss or damage by the shipping carrier.
3. Return the unit unopened. Every pilotADSB Receiver case carries a tamper-resistant seal, and a broken or removed seal voids the refund. There must also be no signs of misuse, physical damage, or water damage, and all original contents, cables, and accessories must be included.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item arrived defective or we shipped the wrong item. Pre-imaged SD cards, antennas, and individual components or replacement parts are final sale and cannot be returned. Full details are in our Return and Refund Policy.

Warranty: Every pilotADSB Receiver carries a 6-month repair-or-replacement warranty against malfunction. The same exclusions apply: we will not repair or replace a unit under warranty that has been opened, has a damaged case, or shows signs of water damage. A unit outside the warranty period or a unit that has been opened may be sent in for a repair estimate, or you may order replacement parts and carry out the repair yourself.

BYOD: Third-party ADS-B devices not purchased from us are not covered by our warranty, but they are supported by our pilotADSBos firmware, which is free to download. We currently support builds on the Raspberry Pi 3B+ and the Pi 4B. See our BYOD page for details and hardware requirements.

ADS-B traffic data depends on aircraft being ADS-B equipped and within range. Not all aircraft transmit ADS-B signals. Weather data is provided for general awareness only and may be delayed. LAANC zone data is informational — always verify airspace authorization through official FAA channels before flight.

You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable FAA regulations, local laws, and safe flying practices. Midsouth Drone Services LLC assumes no liability for incidents arising from reliance on App data.

You agree not to use the App or Site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm others. Prohibited uses include:

• Operating a drone in violation of FAA regulations or airspace restrictions
• Using the App to facilitate reckless or dangerous flight operations
• Attempting to interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Reselling or sublicensing your App subscription to others
• Using automated tools to scrape data from the App or Site

All content, features, and functionality of the App and Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are the exclusive property of Midsouth Drone Services LLC and are protected by US and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The following are registered trademarks of Midsouth Drone Services LLC: PatternGuard™, ThresholdGuard™, CircuitView™, WireWatch™, PipeWatch™

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Midsouth Drone Services LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, Site, or hardware, including but not limited to:

• Drone accidents or property damage resulting from reliance on App data
• Loss of data or service interruptions
• Regulatory fines or penalties for airspace violations
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the 90 days prior to the claim

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of DeSoto County, Mississippi.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
